Course 1

The course was introduced in February 2002. It was hoped that
interdisciplinary and multi-institutional teams would be more reflective to provide authentic learning. This course began with students of NTTF, IISC, and Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, looking at current real
challenges and creating alternatives after analysis and research in the first stage of the project. They were meant to use the online platform to have these projects peer-reviewed.
Students worked in mixed groups on the following projects:
· Solar cooker
· Solid waste management
· Rainwater harvesting system
· Baby care
· Energy efficient stove
· SODIS
The duration of the course was 6 months
